Job Description

Position Location: Paris or Home based

Main Activities / Responsibilities:

  • Manage Isotope Mass Spectrometry (IOMS) sales activities in the country and ensure timely, high-quality sales reporting
  • Acquire new customers in the areas of Geosciences, Forensics, Food Science, and related fields.
  • Provide appropriate technical solutions and quotations to prospective customers to lead to the successful closure of sales.
  • Coordinate and participate in marketing activities, scientific meetings, such as seminars, workshops, or demos as needed to generate and qualify sales leads.
  • Identify key areas of growth potential and strategies to capture both short and long-term growth.
  • Close collaboration with the EMEA IOMS Sales team.
  • Foster alignments with colleagues from CMD and other divisions.
  • Actively use our CRM to keep IOMS projects timely updated.

Profile :

  • University Degree (Masters or equivalent experience; Ph.D. preferred) in Geosciences or related subjects.
  • Experience working with Isotope Mass Spectrometers.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in different countries (factories, sales operations, internal support functions).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent knowledge of the French Isotope Mass Spectrometry community.
  • Good product knowledge of the available Isotope Mass Spectrometers in the market.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks with different priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, self-motivation, sales, and negotiating skills are an advantage.

Travel Requirement:

  • Encouraged to travel approximately 60% in France.
  • Occasionally, travel to other countries may be required.
  • Driver’s license.
