Location/Division Specific Information
The Material and Structural Analysis Division (MSD) enables customers to find meaningful answers to questions that accelerate breakthrough discoveries, increase efficiency, and ultimately change the world. We craft, manufacture, and support the broadest range of high-performance microscopy and spectroscopy workflows that provide images and answers in the micro-, nano-, and picometer scales.
Discover Impactful Work:
You will support the Environment, Health & Safety Manager in offering mentorship on EHS matters throughout the business.
What will you do?
- Implement and maintain EHS programs and activities to meet regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
- Drive incident investigations, identify root causes of EHS Incidents and implement balanced corrective actions.
- Perform Risk Analysis.
- Develop and update safety protocols.
- Be the first point of contact for employees for environment, Health and Safety related questions and topics.
- Handle follow-up on Risk Assessment & Evaluation action points, audit findings and EHS metrics.
- Participate in (safety) audits and perform periodic inspection rounds.
- Co-maintain the ISO 14001:2015 certified Environmental Management System.
- Drive continuous improvement.
Education
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Integral Safety Science.
- Trained auditor (ISO 14001).
Experience
- 3+ Years relevant working experience in an EHS role in an ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 certified environment.
- Knowledge standards like ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001.
- Able to judge engineering solutions and their impact on workplace safety.
- Experience in a high-tech and or production environment is a plus.

- Able to work independently, be a self-starter.
- Effective and persuasive communicator with the ability to effectively convey ideas to different levels of management and various cultures.
- Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Results driven and accountable for actions.
- Proficient in MS Office software.
- Hands-on and ready to roll up the sleeves to fill in where required in meeting the site or departmental objectives.
- English: speaking and writing - business level.
