Key Responsibilities:
Process Leadership
- Lead and standardize the end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) process across all Shared Service Centers globally.
- Drive adoption of standardized R2R methodologies, minimizing regional customizations.
Strategic Collaboration
- Partner with Global Business Services (GBS) Shared Service Centers to implement process improvements aligned with business strategies.
- Collaborate with various departments (Accounting Operations, Controllers, Compliance, Internal Audit, PPI, Automation, IT) to enhance process operations.
Compliance & Controls
- Establish and maintain robust accounting controls within GBS Shared Services.
- Participate in the Efficiency Governance Program, attending weekly meetings with cross-functional teams.
Training & Development
- Ensure operations teams are well-trained in policies, procedures, and systems.
Technology Enablement
- Support the design and improvement of technology solutions, collaborating with business and technology partners.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze business requirements, evaluate design options, and identify opportunities for process simplification and standardization.
Process Oversight & Performance
- Oversee process stabilization post-implementation.
- Make key decisions on process deviations and approve necessary changes.
- Identify and address operational inefficiencies, review critical metrics monthly, track root causes of service deficiencies, and oversee remediation efforts.
Innovation & Improvement
- Lead initiatives to improve process efficiency, effectiveness, and performance.
- Refine and optimize R2R workflows.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Engage with relevant collaborators to efficiently meet business needs while aligning with organizational goals.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in finance or accounting, with 3-5 years in a Shared Services structure.
- Proactive leadership with strong multitasking and collaboration skills.
- Strategic decision-making with a broad perspective and attention to detail.
- Experience with large-scale technology implementations and cross-functional projects.
- Ability to inspire change, influence teams, and maintain motivation.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and engagement skills with senior management.
- Business insight to align Finance objectives with broader company goals.
Location & Travel Requirements:
- No relocation required; travel approximately 10%, with more frequent travel initially.
