Location/Division Specific Information:

The Cincinnati, OH site is a Center of Excellence for specialized oral solid dose manufacturing and drug development within the Pharma Services Group.

How Will You Make an Impact?:

As a File Room Specialist you will be responsible for documentation and record management and assisting in maintaining and ensuring quality practices at the facility.

A Day in the Life:

  • Document intake: Receiving and sorting incoming documents.
  • Indexing and categorization: Assigning appropriate file codes and categories to documents for efficient retrieval. 
  • Physical filing: Filing paper documents in designated filing systems, maintaining proper alphabetical or numerical order. 
  • Electronic filing: Scanning paper documents and uploading them into electronic filing systems, managing digital file structures. 
  • Retrieval: Locating and retrieving documents upon request from authorized personnel. 
  • File maintenance: Regularly reviewing and purging outdated files according to company retention policy.
  • Organization: Involved in organizing and maintaining organization of Records file room.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Clerical or Administrative experience preferred
  • Previous experience in documentation and records management preferred
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills: Ability to systematize and maintain a large volume of documents 
  • Attention to detail: Accurately identifying and correcting errors in documents 
  • Alphabetical and numerical filing proficiency: Efficiently filing documents based on established systems 
  • Basic computer skills: Familiarity with document scanning, email, and file management software 
  • Data entry accuracy: Precise input of information into databases 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team: Completing tasks efficiently while collaborating with colleagues
