Position Summary:

This is an outstanding opportunity to join our ambitious team in Budapest as a Lead Credit & Collections Representative - French Speaker. You will be responsible for the collection of debt on an allocated customer portfolio. Additionally, you'll handle credit limit calculations, approvals, and maintenance for new and existing accounts. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and evaluate credit checks on new customer accounts according to company policy
• Check credit limits and maintain them in line with company policy and SOX requirements
• Proactively contact customers to ensure invoice processing and timely payments
• Ensure collection software is updated with actions taken and follow-ups needed
• Update ERPs with credit limits and account holds
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Services, and Team Leader to tackle problem accounts
• Monitor and release on-hold accounts within designated countries
• Allocate credits in consultation with Cash allocation team and Customer Services
• Log, review, and monitor customer complaints to ensure timely resolution
• Assist with the company’s e-invoicing process and the cash application team where needed
• Train and mentor new employees joining the Invoice-to-Cash (ItC) Department
• Ensure all tasks align with company policies, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Participate in projects, including department or cross-functional initiatives
• Act as the go-to person for operational questions within the team
• Liaise with Internal and External Audit teams around testing
• Deputize for Team Leader during holiday/absence periods
