Group/Division/Country Summary: Thermo Fisher Scientific in Sweden has about 1600 employees divided into 9 businesses. The majority of the business is based in Uppsala, where Thermo Fisher Scientific is the global leader in the production and development of allergy diagnostics.
Position Summary:
The HR Manager provides strategic guidance and operational support for all human resources needs within our organization. Your partnership with senior leadership will be essential in designing and implementing HR programs and initiatives that align with our organization's objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, establish and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to facilitate the company's growth and progress.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify workforce needs and implement effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Support recruitment and selection processes, ensuring a diverse pool of candidates with validated work behaviors that align with the job requirements.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including performance management, career development, and recognition programs.
- Provide direction and support to managers regarding employee relations matters, while adhering to company policies and relevant employment laws.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver training programs on various HR topics.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking and performance-based incentives.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions.
- Stay updated with current industry trends and effective strategies to consistently improve HR processes and programs.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience will also be considered. A Master's degree is helpful but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a complex matrixed organisation with experience in operational and commercial environments.
- Demonstrated experience in Human Resources, handling diverse and complex HR responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrable track record of efficiently implementing HR programs and initiatives.
- Detailed understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrable ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and pragmatically.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to clearly set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to determine and address the needs of the organization and make data-driven decisions
