Join Our Team as an Account Manager III

At Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., we are seeking a dedicated Account Manager III to join our ambitious Sales team in Tampa. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with world-class professionals and successfully implement innovative strategies in the Science Markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own all Science account sales responsibilities for specified MSD EM products, including issue resolution.
  • Define, align, and implement Account Strategy.
  • Develop and implement a Science account growth strategy that aligns with division goals.
  • Ensure booking numbers and revenue recognition align with targets.
  • Manage the ‘roadmap to PO’ using structured selling approaches such as Miller-Heiman while strictly following compliance regulations.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit owners, Application teams, and Service teams to manage strategy and tactics for defined products.
  • Confirm all system configurations, specifications, and acceptance conditions are appropriate for closing orders.
  • Manage distributor and agent relationships.
  • Apply PPI methodologies to identify and resolve complex technical, operational, and organizational problems.
  • Ensure and follow up on CAS.
  • Develop alignment projects by utilizing capabilities at Science Market.
  • Foster a culture aligned with our company’s 4i values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably within the Science Markets.
  • Strong ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical and operational issues.
  • Flawless communication and collaboration skills.
  • Determined and highly organized with a focus on achieving ambitious goals.
