Purpose of the position/responsibility

Main responsibilities are to support implementation of PPI (Practical Process Improvement) Business System to drive continuous improvement through lean and digital transformation.

The Operational Excellence Specialist will play an important role ensuring the Productivity targets are reached and the PPI activities for the Site are successfully driven through a collaborative challenge and a support to the SLT and others site departments.

Assignments, specific/primary activities:

  • Support E2E Operational Excellence and encourage all colleagues to continuously optimize their processes. Establishes a Lean Culture ensuring that all employees become more involved in the PPI initiative.
  • Support site Digital transformation strategy, driving the Operational Excellence influence on Industry 4.0.
  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement events (such Kaizen, VSM, Workshop) in order to reach the efficiency and productivity targets.
  • Act as an internal consultant for sharing and implementing Best Practices.
  • Assist in the education and training on operational excellence principles.
  • Monitor performance, and participate to performance reviews.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, Economics or Business.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment, with proven experience of continuous improvement.
  • 3 years of demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting the predefined quality requirements.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Good knowledge of statistical tools.
  • Experience in Digital Transformation and Digital Solutions is preferred.
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral.
