Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Lead Accounts Receivable Representative to join our world-class Accounting team in Canada. As a Collections Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring flawless financial operations and maintaining strong customer relationships. Responsibilities:

• Contact customers daily regarding payment either by phone or email
• Reconcile customer short payments
• Prepare monthly list for bad debt and Invoices not collectable
• Review daily reports to aid in the collection/reconciliation of accounts
• Update special terms spreadsheet as required
• Work well with other departments to resolve customer issues

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in a business field preferred.
• Bilingual French & English preferred
• 5+ years of experience in collections and/or business or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Able to collaborate effectively with others and work autonomously
• Proficient in Excel
• Ability to type efficiently
