Position Summary:

Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a versatile and motivated Sr Depot Repair Tech in Tewksbury, MA. Be part of our team providing excellent service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair customer and in-process units with proven expertise.
  • Maintain accurate ISO auditable records of product repairs, test results, and other data.
  • Strictly adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and ISO9000 standards.
  • Collaborate in daily team stand-up meetings to determine priorities and strategies.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments, including engineering and materials.
  • Perform transactions in the MRP system efficiently.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, following established 5S procedures.
  • Troubleshoot failure modes and successfully implement solutions.
  • Process work orders for the manufacture of components.
  • Exhibit skill in component soldering and work in an ESD environment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer knowledge.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of Data Entry and Customer Relations Management (CRM) systems beneficial.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a desire to work in a service environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required and 3 + years of related experience.
  • Dedication to work safety, quality standards, and maintaining a clean work area.
