We at ThermoFisher are looking for a Site Doctor, which is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of personnel through the administration of the Occupational Health Program, ensuring regulatory and corporate compliance in occupational medicine, industrial hygiene, and ergonomics. We want someone aligned to our strong values.
Responsibilities:
• Administration of the Occupational Health Program.
• Ensure compliance with Medical Service activities and supervise nursing tasks (occupational and preventive medicine, case care and follow-up, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, accident/incident investigation, and emergency care).
• Stay in sync with the legal requirements of COFEPRIS, as well as the requirements and responses to IMSS, the Ministry of Health, and STPS in health matters.
• Ensure compliance with all STPS regulations related to health.
• Ensure compliance with corporate requirements regarding safety, health, and the environment at ThermoFisher.
• Conduct health evaluations for new employees and follow up on detected incidents.
• Diagnose and treat work-related illnesses and injuries and perform physical fitness assessments for job suitability.
• Refer personnel to appropriate medical institutions for vital care.
• Participate in investigating and addressing the root causes of accidents to prevent recurrence.
• Provide timely and appropriate first aid care.
• Act as the leader of the first aid brigade and Ergonomics Committees.
• Plan health campaigns to reduce disease risks and promote preventive healthcare.
• Follow continuous improvement guidelines to improve health-related processes across all aspects.
• Generate and ensure the correct use and consultation of procedures, documents, and medical records in alignment with quality systems.
• Conduct industrial hygiene and ergonomics inspections.
• Lead and properly dispose of biohazardous waste generated in the medical service.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Medicine
Experience: 2 years of experience working as Site Doctor in the Industry Sector
Languages: English (basic)
