I test and optimize processes for Thermo Fisher's single-use systems, including bioreactors, mixers, and fermenters, working directly with customers as they work with us to test our equipment and optimize their processes. Our team directly influences how customers scale-up their processes, and with what equipment and consumables. By giving them the highest quality products and optimized processes, we enable them to do their jobs more easily and hopefully establish a long-term, strategic relationship.
Over the past decade, the single-use bioreactor has radically changed the biotech industry. I've been lucky enough to develop my career at Thermo Fisher and gain invaluable experience working with this innovative technology as it's expanded and become more complex. It's been a learning curve at times, but I love helping my team overcome obstacles. I'm currently applying my knowledge of adherent cell cultures to use helping to develop and validate the new cutting-edge systems.
