I design and develop products that help crime labs process forensic samples. Where once a DNA sample might have been too small to work with, our technologies amplify detection limits—helping professionals gather accurate and precise information from less than a nanogram of DNA.
What I do has helped in everything from exonerating wrongfully convicted prisoners to cracking cases that were once hopelessly unsolvable. I’ve had the chance to meet the people our technology has helped on both sides of that spectrum—victims’ families who have been given a measure of justice through an accurate conviction, and wrongfully imprisoned individuals who have been set free thanks to advancements in DNA testing. Our work has real impact, and I’ve seen the results with my own eyes.
