Niusheng | Application Engineer
I help keep babies safe. I develop applications for our mass spectrometer, a powerful device that has many uses, including ensuring powdered milk is free from a potentially deadly chemical. Since our customer monitors more than 750,000 tons of infant formula each year, that’s a huge responsibility. In addition to identifying this particular chemical, my work helps the same customer detect over 500 pesticides across a wide range of products.
My job encourages innovation and new thinking. I get to apply my knowledge and our technology to real-life problems, and it’s rewarding to see that what I do today can keep the next generation safe for tomorrow.
