Position Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Virtual Sales Account Manager to join our team. This position involves selling to large resellers in the distribution market. The perfect candidate will have a solid sales background, strong interpersonal skills, and the talent for developing and nurturing relationships with key accounts. The role includes driving revenue growth, overseeing account relationships, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with large resellers in the distribution market. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Drive revenue growth by finding opportunities to expand sales within existing accounts and acquiring new reseller partners to meet annual sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions to resellers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with resellers to increase profitability while ensuring customer happiness.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor and report sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management. Apply CRM tools to track account activities and progress.
  • 15% travel is required

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of work experience, science or distribution environment is helpful.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving and multi-tasking techniques
  • Strong written and communication skills
