Are you ready to elevate your sales career with a leading company? Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a motivated Account Manager II to join our dynamic team in South Korea. This is an outstanding opportunity to engage with key pharmaceutical and biotech accounts, promoting brand new cryo-EM solutions in drug discovery and development workflows!

Account Manager – Pharma/Bio Sector (Electron Microscopy Solutions)

  • Portfolio: Electron Microscopy Solutions, including TEM, SEM, FIB, and related technologies.
  • Location: Field-based position covering all of South Korea, with a primary focus on Gyeonggi-do.
  • Clients coverage: Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Academic sectors – including universities, research institutes, and laboratories.

Responsibilities

  • Improve lead generation and growth in the industrial market, particularly targeting the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
  • Identify and engage with key pharmaceutical and biotech accounts.
  • Expand sales focus to include SEM, FIB, and room-temperature TEM solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to accelerate the adoption of EM solutions in the industrial and pharmaceutical markets.
  • Actively communicate with Business Units to deliver customer needs and implement optimum solutions.
  • Prepare business plans, territory plans, reports, and relevant product solution documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement sales initiatives aligned with the company’s strategy.
  • Manage the product mix and pricing to meet desired targets.
  • Strengthen relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the EM community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical or scientific field.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in life science-related products or solutions.
  • Highly developed negotiation skills for customer interaction and closure of sales.
  • Excellent, enthusiastic communication skills for a diverse audience.
  • Detailed problem-solving skills.
  • Presentation skills and experience crafting materials for presentations.
  • Ability to work cooperatively within an account team.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and factories both locally and internationally.
