Responsibilities
Drive sales development activities to support and improve sales closing.
Prospect continuously to fill the sales pipeline.
Use strategic, data-driven approaches to identify and connect with new customer segments.
Understand customer needs and pain-points, aligning with Thermo Fisher solutions.
Nurture and engage relationships through outreach, events, workshops, and seminars.
Articulate the value of our solutions with confidence and clarity.
Maintain and develop relationships with key customers to support sales.
Drive market expansion and generate business opportunities.
Sell strategic and new products to existing and new customers.
Integrate customer insights into compelling propositions.
Requirements
Master's degree or equivalent experience in life or material sciences required; PhD or equivalent experience preferred.
Proven experience in high value, complex capital equipment sales into the Pharma/Biotech market.
Technical background in cryo-EM/ protein structure analysis by either NMR, X-ray crystallography or CryoEM focusing on structural biology in a drug discovery setting is preferred.
Skills in building customer relationships and generating traction at various organizational levels.
Proven experience building a pipeline of opportunities.
Consistent record in developing deep customer relationships.
Experience in delivering business development strategy.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate with multi-national and cross-functional teams.
Creativity and innovation with strong planning abilities.
Work remotely with the ability to travel up to 50%.
