Job Title: IT Project Manager II

Overview: Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is offering a meaningful role for an exceptionally skilled IT Project Manager II to join our team in Lagunilla. This position is well-suited for someone with a proven track record in IT project management who is ambitious and ready to embrace significant challenges. You will be leading all aspects of flawless project executions, while strictly adhering to strategic objectives and collaborating with teams across multiple countries and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Management: Develop and closely monitor extensive IT project plans, including timelines, achievements, prioritization, and budget management.
  • Global Project Oversight: Successfully implement and manage visible corporate real estate and secu IT projects across various regions, ensuring regional alignment and adherence to company standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to address unique IT challenges and opportunities, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to determine project requirements and objectives.
  • Regular Updates: Keep collaborators, customers, partners, and team members informed about project status, risks, and issues through regular and detailed reports.
  • RAID Management: Identify, document, track, and monitor Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions with effective mitigation strategies.
  • Technology Implementation: Coordinate the flawless implementation of advanced technologies, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
  • Vendor Management: Partner with vendors and external partners to integrate new technologies seamlessly.
  • Field Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and financial prioritization.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, scope statements, and meeting minutes.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Lead and facilitate project meetings, promoting productive discussions and detailing action items.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in information technology.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple international IT projects successfully.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IT systems and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
