Job Title: Senior Director North/West, GSD Commercial EMEA

Location: France, UK or Nordics, Remote

Position Summary:

As a member of the regional leadership team, you will report to the GSD EMEA Commercial Leader. You will own leading and developing a comprehensive commercial growth strategy, profitability objectives and achieving sales results.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass the annual GSD revenue and profitability targets. Drive robust forecasting and sales processes and maintaining strong relationships with direct customers, channel partners and the GSD Business verticals.
  • Reflecting the diverse customer base across Nordics, UK, France & Benelux, lead on the creation and implementation of country/market specific strategies. These will reflect the product and price combination that leads to increased customer value creation and market share gain
  • Bringing to bear the wider LS organization, as well as other Thermo Fisher partners, to develop specific GSD Commercial business plans for the sub-region. These plans should be anchored in an understanding of each country's specific regulations and go-to-market channels.
  • Working collaboratively with Business Unit and Divisional leaders to provide the regional input to facilitate greater understanding of the global life sciences business.
  • Build, and continually enhance, the leadership talent pipeline, demonstrating and championing the practices vital to cultivate a strong focus on employee development across the different teams

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience in life sciences or healthcare within the North/West sub-region
  • 10+ years of commercial experience in life sciences or healthcare, ideally in a highly competitive high-end capital sales environment
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, recruiting and developing sales teams across a large, culturally diverse organization to build performance capability and competence.
  • An understanding the Genetic Analysis industry with an ability to analyze competitors and the market. Planning strategically at both country and overall business levels, working effectively with internal collaborators to drive process improvement and innovation
