Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

Base in Guangzhou China. As a Field Service Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the opportunity to work in our China division, providing exceptional customer service and support.

A day in the Life:

  • Collaborate with customers to determine their needs and successfully implement solutions.
  • Conduct Installation, preventative maintenance and repairs on SEM/SDM tools
  • Provide training and technical support to customers.
  • Travel, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve problems or support other field service personnel
  • Able to be trained in P3 laboratory work and willing to work in P3 laboratory after passing the training, the working hours depend on the tools maintenance time.

To thrive in this position, you should possess ambition, a strong attention to detail, and a demonstrated history of success in customer service.

Education

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in computer, mechanical, electronic, automation or related

Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Experience working with scientific equipment especial SEM/ is an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English listening, reading and writing

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This role requires the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various customer environments, including laboratories and research facilities.
