Field Service Engineer - Digital Software Support

  • Location: Yongin Giheung and Field
  • Coverage: Software
  • Clients: mainly Semicon and others

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair equipment, ensure flawless operation.
  • Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and repair services on Thermo Fisher Scientific equipment.
  • Ensure all service activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support, addressing customer inquiries and concerns efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed records of service activities and customer interactions.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to successfully implement solutions and improvements.
  • Travel to customer sites to perform service tasks, strictly adhering to safety and compliance guidelines.
  • Field software support, workflow and DSE capability

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of complex equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within South Korea.
