Join Thermo Fisher Scientific's PCS Team as a Sr Business Analyst with this outstanding opportunity to craft digital solutions!  

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to complete our IT Team and assist us in support our ERP and Supply Chain Applications. This role will serve as a strategic liaison between IT and business partners, ensuring the alignment with business needs and enhancing harmony across Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Services, Warehouse, and 3PL operations. Capable of prioritization, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable benefits and staying in sync with company’s Global IT Policies & Procedures.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Serve as the primary IT liaison between PCS business partners and IT, encouraging collaborative relationships. 

  • Provide functional support for ERP solutions and applications, ensuring alignment with leadership team providing end-user training, and documentation, to ensuring business teams apply efficient IT solutions. 

  • Partner with business leaders, process owners, and key users to analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements. 

  • Find opportunities for automation, system enhancements, and process improvements to optimize business operations. 

  • Analyze, define, and implement business reporting solutions, collaborating with the Business Intelligence team (Power BI, Cognos, SQL-based reporting). 

  • Collaborate across multiple regions and business units, ensuring global alignment of IT strategies addressing technical application and data issues, engaging corporate IT teams or third-party suppliers for higher-level support. 

Minimum Requirements & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 

  • 5+ years of dynamic ERP improvements and support experience, preferably in distribution, service, and materials management environments. 

  • Demonstrable experience in business process analysis, project management, and ERP functional support. 

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain processes, EDI, Warehouse Automation, RPA, and Finance solutions. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and able to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences, encouraging innovation in business processes. 

  • Experience working in multi-site environments, with a comprehensive understanding of global and regional business process differences and with the ability to adapt to change. 

  • Phenomenal teammate with a collaborative approach to lead positive transformation and continuous improvement. 

  • Proven problem-solving abilities with an organized approach that help us to deliver measurable business value. 

Desirable Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Infor Distribution A+ ERP / AS400 would be preferred. 

  • Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, with familiarity in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Computer Systems Validation (CSV), warehouse management, distribution and 3PL processes 

  • Technical knowledge of SQL, .NET, RPG, AS400 and RF Technologies. 

  • Experience in Project Management, AI applications, Lean Six Sigma principles for system optimization and process improvement.
