Our group

At Physical Failure Analysis group (PFA), we develop and maintain the software for automation of operation of Scanning Electron Microscopes. Our solution is crucial for semiconductor industry to identify errors in the production of semiconductor components and advance their research and production, to make them more robust, reliable, energy efficient.

As a member of an international team of scientists, software developers, and engineers, you'll support development of application software that will allow to automate the instrument. Insights and recommendations you provide will improve solution robustness, speed up research of new technology or algorithms and help the team with making better research decisions.

Daily Challenges

  • Build reports to provide deeper insights into process and telemetry data.
  • Design dashboards enabling users with dynamic insights.
  • Develop Python modules that transform raw data into actionable insights.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

To be successful in your future job, you should have:

  • Ability to work in a multi-functional team and readiness to offer help
  • Data-analytical background
  • Experience with Python and Pandas
  • Proficient in English language
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Passion for new technologies and willingness to apply them
  • Eagerness to understand the domain - electron microscopes

The following skills are nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with Plotly / Dash or other dashboarding tool.
  • Skills in statistical data analysis
