Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead team members’ professional development by goal setting and providing challenges for further growth, focus on career planning (successors, critical skills management, leadership skills development)
  • Drive innovation and practical process improvement (PPI) business system in daily work, drive continuous improvement throughout the whole Thermo Fisher Scientific Brno and is champion of change management
  • Stay close to Operations department to understand the key processes, be ready to step up and support.
  • Lead projects, actively searches for continuous improvement opportunities and maintains healthy funnel and active pipeline of productivity savings
  • Cooperate and align process improvement (PPI) deployment strategy with Divisional Leadership Team and other managers in the division
  • Drive teams to use problem solving, risk/failure identification, project management and other quality and/or lean methodologies within daily operations
  • Ensure and encourages close partnership with the other Thermo Fisher sites for efficient cross-site alignment
  • Focus on developing a strong, adaptable team capable of handling daily and long-term challenges, support balanced growth, inspire change management, infuse a sense of enjoyment and pride into teams, emphasize employer brand

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in managing team with direct employees
  • University degree in process management, project management or relevant field
  • Senior approach to collaborate multiple functions on various organization levels
  • Self-motivated, objectives driven personality with strong customer orientation
  • Drive for improvement in processes and efficiency
  • Proficient communication in English (both written and spoken) is a must
  • Continuous improvement attitude with conceptual approach.
  • Ability to work in an international environment and to operate in corporate company with matrix-organizational setup
